Isn’t this the truth. This is strange for me to post this quote on the 15th anniversary of my mom’s heart attack, which also happens to have been my dad’s birthday. Mom survived the heart attack, and I was reminded how truly Thankful I am for everything I have!

I don’t know about you, but I still haven’t grown up, and could still change my mind as to what I want to do!
We all need a reminder to “shine”. It is so easy to forget with all that is going on these days.
Yes every path has puddles – those of us that think positive look at the possibility of cleaning off our shoes in those puddles. =) or you can go around those puddles and see what else is out there!

This is something that I did for a long time. It took me a long time to learn that I wasn’t hurting anyone but me when I kept trying to prove my parents wrong. Yep, I can be stuborn.
I think that we have all done this, but as I grow older I have decided that I don’t need to take crap from anyone! and neither do you!
But, you do have to make the decision that is right for you to make that change. I am in one of those situations, and I am getting closer to making that change!

Being in Gallup this week really makes me think about living simply. Driving from Colorado south you really notice the lack of amenities down here. A lot of the homesteads are really run down, and lots of stuff (ok, I’ll say it – JUNK) in the yards. Modest housing that we are accustomed to in Colorado appear to be lacking in the smaller towns in this area.
You see people selling their wares on the side of the highway, in resturants (yes, they actually go table to table), and where ever they can find people willing to spend a little money.

I love this quote – it is so easy to let the world change your smile. Every once in a while I have a customer at the store that is so nasty, I just love to screw with them by being nice.
