The holidays are packed away now, and with them all the extra noise and sparkle. This part of the year always feels a little different. It feels quieter, steadier, and full of small moments that invite reflection. It’s when familiar routines begin to return, not all at once, but in thoughtful, meaningful ways.

Yesterday I spent some time measuring and reworking the booth, making space for a few new pieces to come in. These are the kinds of days I love, moving things around, seeing what fits. Spending time in my space, imagining what someone else might notice and connect with. It’s less about rushing forward and more about easing back into the rhythm.

This year, I want to share more of those moments with you

The pieces that spark memories, the small finds that stop me in my tracks, and the stories that come along with them. This is the beginning of a new little series, Every Piece Has a Past, where I’ll be sharing what’s coming into the booth, what’s being added to Etsy, and the familiar nostalgia that keeps drawing me back to certain treasures.

Like this little fisher price phone.

This piece brought back memories of my girls when they were little.

If you ever pulled one of these across the floor—listening to the clack of the dial while pretending to make very important calls—chances are you smiled the second you saw it. These familiar toys showed up in so many homes, quietly becoming part of everyday childhood life. They weren’t just toys; they were companions.

That’s the feeling I’m leaning into as I settle back into routine, bringing in pieces that feel familiar, comforting, and full of history. The kind of things that invite you to pause, remember, and maybe share a story of your own..

If you enjoy these little glimpses behind the scenes, I’d love for you to follow along—there’s more nostalgia and new finds coming soon.

Until next time,

Nancie, Ziggy, Pumpkin & Peanut
