There’s something special that happens when handmade pieces and vintage finds share the same space. It feels layered. Personal. Thoughtful.
While I refresh my booth for a new season, I don’t think in terms of “old” versus “new.” I think in terms of story. Texture, Meaning. A quiet charm that only comes from pieces that have lived — or been lovingly created by hand,
Vintage carries history. Handmade carries heart, and together? They create something even better.

Supporting the Hands That Create
I am a creative, and one of the things I feel deeply about is supporting handmade creatives.
There’s something powerful about a piece that was stitched, painted, carved, or crafted by someone who poured intention into it. Handmade decor carries personality. It isn’t mass-produced. It has small variations, character, and warmth.
I love mixing handmade decor with handmade vintage linens, glassware, and collected pieces, it creates a space that feels authentic — not staged. It feels lived in. I’ve had several people, including young kids asking if they could live in my store! Such a compliment.

Why They Work So Beautifully Together
Vintage pieces bring:
• History
• Patina
• Texture
• A sense of time
Handmade pieces bring:
• Fresh creativity
• Seasonal updates
• Softness
• Personality
Handmade & Vintage layered together, they balance one another.
- A handmade bunny sitting next to a stack of vintage books
- A pastel floral arrangement resting in an antique ironstone pitcher
- A newly crafted spring sign layered against a weathered wooden crate
For me it is the mix that makes a booth feel curated instead of crowded….

It’s About Story, Not Just Style
For me, vintage has never just been about decorating. It’s about preserving pieces of the past while making space for today’s creativity. By supporting handmade artists, we’re keeping craftsmanship alive. By selling vintage, we’re honoring history. And when those two worlds meet, something really special happens.

A Booth That Feels Collected
As I’ve been refreshing the booth for spring, I’ve been intentionally mixing handmade Easter decor with carefully chosen vintage pieces. The goal isn’t perfection, it’s warmth, and it’s character. It’s that feeling of walking into a space that feels layered over time. That’s the magic of mixing handmade and vintage, and it’s something I’ll always believe in.
Can you pick out all of the handmade mixed with the vintage.

If you’re local, I’d love for you to stop by the booth and see how handmade and vintage come together this season.
We’ll be starting to add our local pickup pieces in the coming days, so be sure to check back often — there’s always something new finding its way into the space.
If you have questions about an item, are looking for something specific, or just want to share a favorite find, leave a comment or send a message. I truly love hearing from you.
